Front subframe/cross member engine brace leaking?

This is I’m referring to
My front subframe/cross member is leaking some oil from the passenger side and it also has a slit would this cause a problem? I’ve haven’t noticed any major oil consumption or any thing odd. Would this cause harm later on ? If so how much is labor to install the brace? It doesn’t leak it’s just wet to the touch

You need to get an inspection mirror and a good flashlight and start looking for where the fluid is coming from and exactly what fluid is leaking. I would suspect leaking valve covers but it could be any number of things, might not even be motor oil.

The oil is NOT leaking out of the front suspension member, it's leaking ABOVE the suspension member and dripping down onto it. If you don't have access to tools to get your vehicle up in the air you can usually talk to a local lube shop about using their pit for a couple minutes when they don't have customers, might have to "tip them a $20".

I prefer these rectangular telescoping inspection mirrors because they're a little bigger and you can see more. Definitely need a good flashlight as well, shine the flashlight ON THE MIRROR and the light reflects up to whatever you're trying to inspect in the mirror.

Good deal, try to stay away from the power steering stop leak, just keep the reservoir topped off until you can identify exactly what components is leaking and replace it.

Hopefully it's just the fluid line set but more often than not it ends up being the power steering rack and pinion.
