Front Crossmember Subframe Brace Replacement, Opportunity to Upgrade?

This is the brace I'm referring to that needs to be replaced, this one looks mint compared to the shape mines in now.

The front lower crossmember brace or Subframe support(not sure exactly what it's called but it's the one pictured) on my coupe needs to be replaced soon due to severe rust damage. There's one spot in particular that's really badly deteriorated. While I was searching for a replacement I came across this:

It apprears to be a complete replacement of the oem brace, but I havnt been able to find any info on it or anyone else who even sells this or something like it anywhere? I'd rather go with this than an oem replacement, if it's an upgrade of course, and it's only $100ish more than what I can get a used replacement for. I messaged the seller 2 days ago and havnt heard anything back yet. I'm hoping someone here has bought one or at least knows anywhere else that sells them? Mainly I'd like to confirm if this is a complete replacement/upgrade for to the oem brace, It def looks like it from the pictures but it's doesn't say anywhere in the description either way.

If you have the OEM part number check Amayama.com. Generally pretty amazing prices for OEM parts. That way you'll know it's complete.

It's a brace, people upgrade to more braces in unique places, but the OEM front suspension brace is great at doing it's job.

It certainly looks like a full replacement. Bolts up to all the same spots as OEM. Go for it if you can find one, but the OEM is pretty good also.

I went to company's website who makes the brace and sent them a message requesting some info on it, waiting to hear back now. There's no description at all on the eBay listing or on the website. It also only says for the 350z on the website but oem braces are the same on the g35 so it has to be compatible. If it wasn't for my oem brace needing to be replaced I wouldn't even have considered buying this. I came across it searching for an oem brace and figured if I can replace a damaged part and make an upgrade at the same time, why not. I'll wait to hear back from them for now and go from there tho I guess

did you have any luck finding this brace? I just got under mine to find my oem brace also very rusted. I would like to get a nice replacement if possible also.

I always knew where the brace was. It was for sale on ebay, it actually still is, I just looked it up again-

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F181453974172

I was just never able to get any confirmation, from literally anywhere, if the brace was compatible with the g35 coupe. I messaged the ebay seller a few times and emailed the company directly and never got a response. I found a deal on a clean oem brace from someone parting out a g35 near me and just gave up. Id still be interested to know if anyone ever finds out

I Think I found the solution !!! This is a two part purchase to do it for the g35 sedan. I am working with Ultra Racing right now to determine if this will work with the AWD model, as its not really pointed out in the description.
The company did respond to me this morning. once we figure out if this will in fact work. I'll get it ordered up asap so I can get it on the car to see how well it works. *** I will update any progress, good or bad as soon as I hear back from ultra racing***
you would need:
Part # UR-LA4-1445 https://ultraracing-usa.com/infiniti...rame-4-points/ $195 parts cost
Part # UR-LAS6-1446P https://ultraracing-usa.com/infiniti...rame-6-points/ $295 parts cost

My crossmember has rusted out of my G35x 2008 and I stumbled upon your post. What do you think about this after driving?

Unless this was a dedicated track car you're not going to feel a difference, this chassis is extremely rigid with the OEM components. Just buy another OEM front brace and coat it in a flexible sealant so it won't rust out in the future. Bed liner, chassis undercoat, urethane, something that is abrasion resistant and flexible. It won't be as pretty as a custom made powdercoated piece but it's going to perform the same.

For anyone interested, I plan on doing a 2013 "improved design" swap for mine in a few days. Willing to do a follow up on how it goes. In preparation for having to cut the old bolts out, does anyone know the thread size and length to save me a trip?

The bolts should be fine, just impact wrench them off. Those subframe braces are notorious for rusting apart, they flex and the paint on them cracks, then it rusts.

Welp, they are a flanged m10-1.25 30mm. 3 of them are rusted/rounded off. I'm very confident I can grind them down and extract the studs. The bolt heads were bad but the threads are immacule. I'm replacing all of them with some zinc plated ones.
