Whenever I turn my wiper blades on intermittent or when I just tap up to make them wipe they "skip". Sometime in the middle of the windshield and sometimes when they're at full extension. When they're constantly on they do not skip. My dad thinks it might be the relay/switch and I'm thinking the motor. Has anyone dealt with this? The whiper blades are brand new. They do this regardless of how much water is present. Video:

 

Ask FrankieG35 on Instagram or here, he had this issue. I believe his fix was simply the blades themselves.

 

Damn, looks like they have Parkinson's. First thing I'd try is using some rubbing alcohol on the blades themselves to clean them off. It could be something on the blades.

 

Lift the wipers up off the windshield to the maintenance position and try it again, looks like it's just a lot of friction on the windshield. If the issue still exists when them lifted up then you have a failing component but I'm guessing you just need a good windshield treatment like Pinnacle Glasscoat, use it on the window AND the windshield wiper.

 

A paint polish on the glass will really clean it will if there is something on it.
