Please help

I was driving a couple days ago and it felt as if something heavy just dropped below the car. The car would no longer accelerate, just rev. Check engine soon light came on and code P1730 came on . please help with this.

There's not a lot of info out there about your code from what I could find. Here are a couple of links that might help. Since it seems to me to be a transmission issue, if it were me I'd take it to a Nissan dealership (cheaper then Infiniti) and pay for a proper diagnosis. I fear the repair won't be cheap from what I've read.

Typically when you feel a hard thud like that something grenaded. It may have been as simple as the propeller shaft U-joint. Jack up the car and spin the rear wheels by hand and make sure everything turns. If it looks good externally you might have blown up the torque converter or something. Drop the pan and see what falls out.

I looked in AllDataDIY and that code is related to an interlock of the transmission. It usually goes off if two sensors fail to operate; I don't remember, which ones though. It mostly pointed to the TCM or sensors on the valve body. There is a self diagnosis to test the TCM. It will then stay lit for a set period of time to tell you if one of the sensors is bad.
