Please Help Help Help!!!

Please help me here guys

I installed Fijita Intake and when I turned the engine on the engine chokes and the rpm dropped below 1000rpm. I tried to push the gas pedal but it did not make and better. The engine does not seem to have any power to start. What is wrong??? I followed every steps in the instructions. I need to use my car tomorrow

Do I need to remove negative side of the battery??? I did not do that.

sounds like there's something wrong with the air flow sensor? intake leak after the sensor (some type of air leak between the sensor and the engine)? make sure everything is tight, plugs are tight, etc etc...

MAF sensor? You need to install the open-side towards the filter. Also, check for any leaks and see if any velves are loose.

The sensor is correct. I could not see any leaks I unscrewed everything and put them back on. Still the same

I'm not too sure at this point... Did you try to put back the stock intakes?

Try put them back and see if it makes any differences...

Sorry not being able to help.

yeah, my only guess is the maf sensor/air leak,
since i actually haven't really look at the engine bay or seen what the product looks like, i'm assuming it's something like:
air element -> pipe -> maf sensor plug -> pipe -> engine or intake throttle thingymajig

i'm thinking somewhere in between the maf sensor and the engine is a leak where the mas air flow sensor is reading one thing, but since there's a leak in between the pipes, the ecu is then having some screwed up reading due to the leak...

make sure the couplers/clamps are tight (well, not too tight to strip bolts and stuff... just tight enough so it's air tight)

could be something else completely different though...

best of luck...

I found the problem. I did not put the MAF sensor towards the air flow but there is a problem. I can not lock the MAF in position. Look at the picture. Anyone with this problem??? Did I do something wrong?

Resize the picture please, or a clearer picture at least.

I don't get it, was the MAF not lining up? Judging by your pics, have you tried flipping it to see if it would line up? The driver side pipe should be showing the shiny part of the MAF when you slap it on and the driver side pipe should show the black part of the MAF sensor when putting it on (i think) all i could remember was one of them is put on backwards, it could be the left or the right..

I did try to flip it but the the sensor will point towards the engine not the air flow intake. I also tried to swap the sensor from the driver side, same result, it will fit only when the sensor points towards the engine. When I flipped it to face the air flow intake it did not fit like in the pictures.

Are you sure you have the right intake for your year and model. They could have sent you the wrong one maybe???? Since it's not fitting correctly, I would get the part number and check on thier website to make sure.
