Power folding mirror questions...

I have seen several sets on eBay, but none have the harness or switches. Can the pigtails and switch be purchased from a dealer, or some online source? I can't seem to find anything...

I have the power folding mirrors on my Q70
You may want to take a look at section MIR page 8 of the Q70 FSM to get an idea of the complexity of folding mirrors and the wiring harness required..

I've done a complete rewire with megasquirt ECUs (not on my G35). I think I can handle the wiring. My issue is obtaining the required parts...

I looked into this a while back when I saw a set for sale, and there's more than just wiring involved. You may want to read through: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-question.html

so i purchased a set with a switch and folding mirrors and actually broke my switch while swapping the led. i purchased a replacement jdm nissan folding mirror switch from another car and it plugged right up. just have to make sure you find one that looks to have the same shape pigtail. the pinout was the same. for mine (06 coupe) swapping the bases was totally useless. i had to basically modify the base mounting point to actually have the mirrors function. or else they were maxed out and still did nothing for me. i had to fill in the holes with jbweld and redrill and shape new ones to actually allow the mirrors to work.
