Jdm power folding mirror question

Just wondering what all I'd need to make the jdm power folding mirrors work on my 05 sedan. I know I need the mirrors themselves obviously. Was really hoping they just automatically closed when power was cut to the car. I know on most hondas the power folding option has a push button feature. I don't think I'd get lucky enough for the mirrors to be plug and play on my G. Just wanting to see if anyone on here has done the jdm power folding mirrors or is really into the jdm thing. I mean I know I've seen the clear corners and badges but other than that not much jdm from what I've seen anyway.

Send a PM to JDM Cain he has these on his car. That's a pretty good price for those, someone should scoop them up.

I just got a text back from JDM Cain. The ones listed on eBay don't have the switch and relays, so not sure you'd be able to get them to work on your car without buying additional parts.

He'll post more details on this later I'm sure.

Hey man, I installed Power Folding mirrors on my car. My set came with the switch and relays. I got mine from a friend in Japan.

This set is unfortunately missing the switch and 2 relays. You should contact the seller to see if he has them or can get them. If he cannot, it will kind of be pointless to purchase these, unless you know where to get the switch/relays.

The mirrors are unfortunately not plug and play. You need to change the mirror base and use the USDM/OEM one. I changed the mirrors themselves too since the JDM mirrors are opposite. I also changed the guts and used the USDM/OEM mirror covers. You basically pay for the JDM mirror switch, relays, and guts since you use the USDM bases, mirrors, and mirror covers.

thanks for the info. your car looks great. mine is white as well. you've modded it very tastefully. if you ever get rid of any parts hit me up. it'd be great to buy parts already color matched.

Awesome post JDM, how do you like yours? I didn't realize you had this mod or I would have asked to see them in action at the meet.

Yup, yup got home around 11 PM Tuesday night. Spent the night in Phoenix on Monday and had dinner with ttrank. Got to experience the beast in person and driving back to the hotel it felt like I was driving a Prius.

The mirrors are way cool!!

You really have to see his car in person to appreciate it. It's incredibly beautiful and well-done.
