Engine sound on 2006 G35X
Hello,
I have a question about the engine sound in general, accelerating, and when shifting between gears on my 2006 G35X (Automatic). So I am comparing this to a 2004 Camry 3.0 V6. I understand that the G35 has a bigger engine but it is really loud compared to the camry. Is that Normal? The dealership recommended doing a fuel injection service when they did a multipoint inspection, would that help and make the engine quiter? Is it even related? I always use full senthetic oil and premium gas on this one, but still think the engine is a little bit too loud. Any ideas?

Can you take a video of your engine when idling, and also give it a few revs so we can compare our G's to yours?
I thought that about the G at first when I bought mine (05 G35x) but then I figured I upgraded from a 1.6L 4 cylinder to a 3.5L V6 geared towards performance, not fuel economy. Although it may seem a bit "noisy" so long as it sounds healthy, you're fine. But I suggest taking a video for us.

It's normal for the DE motor to be a little loud. These cars have the loudest fans of any car I've owned, when they both are on high it sounds like an airplane in there. But as mentioned a video for us to compare would be helpful.
