yea left a bottle of Bacardi O in the trunk sat night, and while driving around i guess the cap came loose, pretty much the entire bottle spilled n the trunk. Surprisingly the carpet soak it up pretty damn good.

 

haha that sucks man. I had a bottle of Grey goose spill all over the trunk also but i maneged to get most of it on me and not the car. But what a waste of good vodka.

 

Did you have to clean it at all or just let it soak. Good info for the future in case I run into the same probelm.

last weekend i drove to Vegas....long story short, my budy spilled a Corona in the back seat and the back floor mat. my G had a beer smell i could'nt get ride of. eventually the leather seats dried up. i soaked and washed the floor mat and the smell finally went away. it's not good to have your car smelling like beer, what if you get pulled over?

Then you explain your story to the nice officer, and agree to do the field sobriety test. Of course, it's better not to get pulled over in the first place. I'd be very watchful of speed limits until taking care of that smell.

nope didnt even have to touch it...dried by it self and since it was Bacardi O it kinda smelled like oranges so all i had to do was pop in a new air freshner and its all good!!
