So I left my car parked at a parking lot earlier and I came back with this white paint all over my QP and some of the door 🤬 really messed up my day anyways I got a quote to fix this for $400 and I’m wondering if I’m getting a good price to fix this

 

That's why I sold my new vehicle and bought 2 beaters. I would love to catch someone doing this and follow them home.

 

i do have another car as a beater.I just had picked up my g35 from getting the whole front suspension changed And after I decided to go to the store real quick and came back to this really killed my mood and day

 

Use your yelp app and look for mobile dent service, I know exactly how that feels but helpless because it was hit and run. If you get a quote of $250 to fix it then do it! GL

 

Paint/body is the worst thing you can cheap out on. Unless you like visible sanding under the paint, excessive orange peel, runs, solvent pop, dirt in the paint and buffer swirls all over your car.

What you should do first is get a compound like Meguiars Ultimate Compound since their consumer line is meant to be used by hand. Use it and a microfiber towel to remove the paint transfer. If the damage underneath isn't bad after compounding, it may look acceptable enough to you to not bother having it refinished.

 

I tried that it got rid of it partially but it still had a noticed able smear around it and it really bothered me.I was Able to contact a guy I’ve done business with that works on G/zs and ended up repainting it along with fixing the dents and rust for a really good price.She pearls in the sun now 🤗.Only thing is that once I fixed one thing another one breaks.I now have to save up to fix a big leak.Nothing ever goes my way 😭
