So im buying this g35 today but ive never seen this color on an 03 which leads me to believe that its a repaint.. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys/gals
Carribbean blue or Athens blue are the OEM colors that shade, I'm pretty sure they were only offered in 03-04 and hard to tell the difference unless they're sitting side by side. scumbag there's not an 03-07 Infiniti paint officially named Crystal Blue Metallic.
That's what the paint match site said. Guess they will get in trouble for selling the wrong color. I have seen one for sale in my area the color posted.
I have gone as far as 2.5 hours away to pick up cars and had to come back empty handed because of shady sellers. One time I went to pick up a G35 coupe for the brembo brakes and wheels and when I got there it wasn't even the same car they pictured, kinda scared me because of the area it was in. Thought I might have been baited in to get robbed.
After searching paint codes for probably too long it seems Athens, 2004-06, is also called different names but they are all the same color. Medium Blue, Metallic Blue and Crystal Blue Metallic are all used, as long as a vendor offers the correct paint designation B21. Carribbbean Blue was only offered in 2003 with the code B16.
