Hey, Fellow G35 Owner here (black goes faster at night).

And I was wondering why did you pick sedan over coupe?

Was it money or did you just like the style more?

 

Carseat and wanted the room for passengers.

 

I bought my sedan because I had an 03 TL and could not go back to the two door. I love the way that the coupe looks, and would have loved to have got it. But I need the four doors so it was a great choose. All the power and performance with four doors. GREAT!

 

ONLY because I needed carseat space. I tried and tried to talk my wife into the coupe....Gosh I love my sedan. :-)

 

4 doors were more practical with kids, and customers. I also spend very little time at the speed limit, and a sedan attracts less attention than a two door coupe.

 

I love the way the coupe looks, but I picked the sedan because I hope to own it for a long time, and need the "expandability" of 4 doors for the future, and taking clients around... And the cost savings too, but that didn't play a huge roll.

 

Even though our kids are grown up we still find the sedan more practical. BUT if the coupe was offered with AWD, it might have made a more difficult decision for my wife and I.

 

I went with the sedan because a coupe with sunroof would hit my head on the roof.. sorry.. that wasn't for me.

nah, just kidding........I got kids...nuff said.

 

What we need is a why arent there as many mods avialable for the sedans as the coupe thread!

Being 21, I had a hard time going with 4 doors when the 2 door is so damn sexy. With money limits, I took the Sedan + nav over the coupe with no nav. Also finding a 2005 coupe 6 speed was hard when I purchased my car. I had no idea of the 04 to 05 changes, so when I saw the sedan at the dealership and it had body color matched panels and 298hp, I said why the hell hassle with 2 doors when I can get a beautiful sedan that IMO looks classier, even if it is less sporty, performance specs are still comparable.

 

I mainly wanted to seat 4 adults comfortably. AWD and a full size spare sealed the deal.

 

No coupe since my daughter is still too young to sit in the front seat.

 

I liked the way it looked and I wanted the 4 doors.
