Trunk swap, wiring question
I have an 06 sedan without an ironing board spoiler and I want to swap to a trunk WITH one (pretty shocking right?). I know the actual trunk lids are interchangeable, but how would wiring the brake light in the spoiler work?
bump..
I found this:

Can someone confirm if it's as simple as described in post #2, but for a sedan?? Need help

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

It looks straight forward in the thread to me. However, since you already have a third brake light in the rear panel do you need the spoiler light to work?
I would unplug the CHMSL and use it to power the spoiler light, if your rear windows are tinted you would never even know the CHMSL was unplugged because you can't see it through tint.. Find a donor vehicle in salvage you can cut the matching end of the harness from so you aren't butchering your factory wiring then just pull another set of conductors through the trunk wiring harness out to the spoiler.
