noise while in motion
This has been bugging me for a while.
I have this weird noise, which i feel is an interior noise, sounds very much like a little hamster wheel.
1. Noise 99% happens while in motion at any speeds.
2. AC/FAN/Radio all turned off.
3. Noise doesn't happen all the time but is there a lot of time. Happens between 3mph- 80mph.
To me honestly, it feels like its coming behind the radio faceplate. I knocked around the dash and everything. A friend of mines things in inside the dash, where it meets the glass. Anyone have a noise like that.
It's an obvious squeak. Its 100% not suspension related nor RPM related. I'm going to try to record this on the iphone later. Its been happening for the last few days. Nothing has been changed on this car.
I have to replace a AC tensioner pulley but that's not related.

Yeah just get some poly engine mounts, and then you won't care about that noise anymore hahahahaha
If you really wanna fix it you just need to pull literally every panel off, apply sound deadening and foam tape liberally, and reattach. Your noise is just some plastic creaking against another somewhere under the car's dash probably exactly where you think it's coming from. Nothing else to say.

Use a can of aerosol spray lube like a dry Teflon spray. When it stops making noise you know where the problem is so you can take it apart later and fix the noise with foam and gorilla tape.
Dry spray won't make a nasty greasy mess.
