no squeaking here, but i think there is a TSB fix for a rocking (and possibly squeaking) seat. try looking in the TSB forum under "technical and modifications." good luck.

THANKS
My driver seat sounds squeaky as well. I took my G in 3 times and seat rail was replaced once. A few months later it came back. The other 2 times, they couldn't find the issue.
Just a few weeks back, I suddenly noticed that it doesn't seem like "rocking" during acceleration/deceleration/making right/left turns, which is what the TSB is for. But it seems like a squeaky noise coming from the side on the left towards the rear where the plastic cover is. It also feels like something is not secured right behind where my butt is sitting on; like bolt or nut is kinda loose type of feeling.
One thing I found on mine is that there are 2 white plastics inserts that secures the side plastic cover piece were broken. (Possibly was broken by the service technician when they were checking them. Right now, I can use my hand to pull the side plastic cover out slightly and my fingers/palm can easily fit in between the plastic and the leather seat.)
Anyway, not sure when I'll have the time to look into this myself again. Or perhaps, I'll bring it in if I need anything done to my G again and have them check into this.
Let me know what you find....

center console

You guys sure it is the seat only... If you rest against the center console cover you can hear a squeak or creakinf sound when you go around turns, etc. I notice this myself on an 05 G35x. I stopped pushing on the console cover and it stopped.

Speaking of the rubber stoppers on the center arm rest. I just bought an 03.5 and the two rubber feet on the bottom of the armrest were missing. Two little rubber feet (5 cents each maybe?).

So the dealer says they can't order just those and they will have to replace the whole armrest???!!!!! lololol. Under warranty....

They are replacing a big leather armrest with built in vents and an hours labor under warranty because two 5 cent rubber feet fell off????? No wonder these cars are over $30k - they have to make up for the warranty work!

Consider yourself lucky, enjoy the G, and pray that it never happens to you. Or maybe learn like others who can ignore and live with it. I'm really "efforting" to ignore it.
But when it happens, unless you can pin point exactly where the noise is coming from or find a dealer that will really help you, otherwise, TSB won't even help. Know at least one thing, Dealer must be able to replicate it, not you, otherwise, they cannot fix it. (At least that's what happened to me at Sacramento Infiniti. And I understand it to certain extent, sometimes it's cat and mouse game.)
I already had my seat rails changed. I don't think mine has to do with rocking during acc/deceleration, but merely a squeaky and clicking noise coming from the lower left hand side of the seat itself as described above.
Anyway, I might just take the matter into my own hands or I might take it in when I need anything done to my G. And if I do take it to the dealer, this will be my 4th or 5th time.

Yes both the Sedan that I had and the Coupe I have now have a minor squeak in the seat. Not annoying but it's there. No biggie.
