I'm looking to start working on my car and I'm starting with the suspension and brakes. Need advice on the best possible coil over kits.

OEM KYB replacements have the best valving on a budget with lowering springs. Trim basis Z are the cheapest coil over available that isn't total crap.

From my experience, I had Tein Street Flex on my old RX8. Installed by previous owner who was a track instructor at Road Atlanta. After many hours logged on track use (can still find the videos on YouTube), those coilovers were still great at 168k miles. Pay the small upgrade costs for Flex over the Basis (think “Basic”) for adjustability and a lot less punishing ride.Originally Posted by Urbanengineer

Just installed a set of BC Racing Coilovers and I couldn't be happier, I thought it would be stiffer but it's not. Lowered approximately 2" all around. Excellent brand and reputation, well built and just a tick over a grand. Super happy with my decision.
