Help.....how do you replace an ignitor only

Hey all,

I have a 2003 G35 Sedan..the ignitor connector to the bulb is broken and won't keep a good connection.I bought a replacement. How do you switch out the ignitor box? Do I need to take the bumper off and take the headlight bezel out? Or should I just splice the new connector into the existing ignitor wires? I know it's just the broken connector because I put new bulbs in and seen them work and I can also see the connector is broken and missing parts of the ring that connects to the head light.

This is the old connector next to the new

Similar as any other electrical connector. Soldier and shrink.
