Door lock actuator issue

Hey all so I have an 03 g35. The door lock actuator has **** itself in turn resulting in the door being closed and locked. I am unable to unlock with the remote, central locking or manually on the door. Now I'm looking for options in regards to getting the door open with out ****ing the door card. The door needs to be unlocked in order for me to take the door card off and get the window out. Any help would be highly appreciated. Wondering if it will be easier to just replace the door? Will a replacement door be just plug and play?

Can you hear the door lock actuator trying to work at that door? Which door is it, front or rear, driver or passenger? If it is a door with a keyhole on the exterior handle, have you tried that?

Its a 2 door coupe, can hear the actuator trying to unlock it. There's no key entry for the passenger door.

I would say force the manual unlock from the inside while also cycling the electric unlock button at the same time. Might just pop it open.

Agree, it is worth a try. These actuators can get weak before they completely break (sounds like this is your car's current issue).

Otherwise it sounds like you are stuck taking the door card off with the door shut. Then reaching into the door to destroy the actuator and latch. I think all of the screws securing the door card are accessed along the door handle pull (3 10mm bolts). Prying the door card free (towards the interior) and lifting it upward can be difficult with the door shut.
