Post transmission/CV noise ? any ideas

2005 G35x sedan 97,000 miles I have this strange whining sound coming from the front.. I thought it might be the tires, CV axle or transmission. I noticed the CV's are in a upward arch not bent but like in a downward fashion from the wheel to the transmission. So, then I'm thinking it may be the suspension ( struts )
I just don't really know where to start looking so, I thought I might try here.. I posted the video -
take a listen and if you need more information please let me know.

or cut and paste video link -

Sounds like gear whine, when was the last time you had the differential fluid changed? Both front and rear. I know diffs can get REALLY whiny if they have old gear oil in them, service interval is like 30k miles.
