The chin spoiler kit comes with a template. The template is a 8 x 11 paper, you will have to cut the templates out ( 3 templates - A ,B, and C). The instructions will tell you where the 3 templates will be placed. Pretty much on the front near the air dam, the side of the bumper, and on the side near the tires.
Socal,

Thanks for answering.. hmm.. did yours come in a box with all kinds of shredded paper as packing material? I havent dug through all of it, but I didnt see any template.. there was a pack of bolts taped to the inside of the box and another pack of what looked like the backside of a sticker inside a bag.. but they were like little rectangle pieces (maybe 4"x3"), 4 pieces I think.. I'm probably going to do mine tomorrow

I just checked availability. Seems like everyone who had them in stock sold them all. Still no answer on if this chin spoiler will fit the X. Anyone try this yet?

Ok, I found the install guide.. it was stashed deep in the pile of shredded paper they used for packing material.. just to add to what socal-oc said about the install.. in the guide, they tell you to slot a couple of the holes and to drill extra big holes for the other two that need to be drilled.. makes for an easy installation (its just hard to do on your own car).. the guide is pretty concise and they don't skimp on hardware required for the install (rubber washers, those plastic push rivet thingies, clips, etc etc).. it took me about an hour or so.. and most of the time was spent on drill bit selection.. I had a hard time trusting the installation guide's use of overly large drill bits.. I'd post a pic but my car looks exactly like socal-oc's.. didn't have time to do the splash guards.. soon though..

FWIW, I definitely think it looks better in person..

Oh-Dawg,

Sorry to reply back late. I was working on a HID Fog Light project, I have been planning and designing for a couple of weeks. But it is done.

My package came in a box. With white protective foam like sheet wrapped all around. It did not come in with shredded paper.

Man your G looks awesome. It looks just like mine. Can you say ...SEXY SEXY SEXY !

Looks good and great work on the install.

Check out my HID Fog Lights setup, yes I did lose my Highbeam but that is okay. I hardly every use highbeams.

What do you think ?

Hey I also noticed you are in Socal, I would like to hook up sometime. email me at jmarcel506@gmail.com

OK, it's time to bring this thread back to life. Has anyone tried/installed this chin spoiler on an 05 X yet? It's been a while since I've checked. Maybe EverythingG35 can test fit one? I really think I need one of these. What's up guys!?

I have a question about your HID fogs -- isn't the OEM fog light for the G35 Sedan an H4 bulb? Doesn't this also double as your high beam? Did you lose your high beam by converting to an HID fog? Or did you use a hi/low HID bulb so that you can retain your high beam?

It would be totally insane to have HID lows, HID fog/high, and superbright LED city lights and blinkers. That's a lotta powah!

Does not match even close to what oh-dawg just posted on his car? Care to change the pic?

I never noticed that.

The one on Everything G35 is more uniform.

The one is the users' pics has more of an "air splitter" look.

Which one is the official Infiniti OEm chin spoiler????
