The AT Check light came on. turn off the car now it does not want to turn on and when I put the scanner to read it does not connect it does not read,

Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if it might reset the ECUs.

no because when connecting the scanner it fails to make a connection that's the other thing I don't understand
