Light weight tire options?

Recently purchased the g35 19" rays rims to swap with my steel 17" on my 2003 G35 sedan.
I'm looking at the Toyo T1R tires but I can't find them and think they are out of stock/discontinued.
What are some options for these wheels?
245/40-35/19
225/40-35/19
Looking for the lightest tires as I'm trying to save weight and be lighter or just as heavy as my stock 17" which was like 7" wide vs. These 9" rearsI'm amazed how heavy a tire can be between brands.Already went though lightning up a lot of things drive shaft single piece, flywheel, pulleys including idler delete. Trying my best to make things light while upgrading. Next is seats.

Unfortunately the 19"s are pretty heavy, not much you can do about it. As for tires, there's so many good options for ultra high performance summer tires that you can just pick whatever you want. Unless you're actually putting MONEY on the race and this is a competitive car it won't really make a difference.

Personally I'm a fan of Michelin Cup as well as Nitto. Long proven history of trophies behind those two but at the end of the day a world class driver with a **** set of tires will still win over a bad driver.

So it probably doesn't matter for your application since this likely isn't a track car.

Continental, Falken, Firestone are more affordable.

Lmfao! This is actually a track car. I do a lot of different events and it's strictly track that's why I ask. I went with rays 19" because I got them for free and there lighter then my 17 cast. here is a list of my mods.
Borla header, Megan test, motor dyne y and ISR True heart all around for my suspension except my proto type ark performance coilovers.< Yes I have the only pair in the world for ark DTP coilovers for a g35 sedan, white line sway bars and endlinks.
Single piece aluminum drive shaft, wave trac LSD, solid bushings all around, act prolight flywheel and heavy duty clutch, B&M short throw.
engine I have radium fuel rail and lines 650cc deatschwerks injectors, kinetics manifold, 75mm TB, GTR swapped coil packs, and a few other goodies including about five different innovative Motorsport gauges.
currently waiting on RRS seats to arrive once I get my discount code I will purchase. There is plenty of other things I'm missing but here is a few pics for the fun.
price is not really a thing IV done PSC2 tires but was wondering if there is something lighter/better.

most of this stuff I got at a discount by just writing the company's and saying I will put your sticker on my car and show it during events for a discount anywhere from 10% to 35% off mishimoto was my biggest discount at 35% that's why I called out on them and bought everything.
Hope you enjoy the photo ****!

Ok in that case, Nitto NT01 and Michelin Cup 2 are great. Personally I like Nitto for that EXACT reason you listed earlier, if you talk them them about a discount they'll usually give one. Michelin will NEVER give you a discount so don't even bother asking...

Not that either of those are exactly "lightweight".... but that's what a tire shaver is for if there is money on the line.

Also, you should seriously consider the 370Z axle/bearing swap. Mostly for the bearings since they're significantly better than the stock ones.

Bro you read my mind!!! Look what's in my cart from Z1! I'm tempted to just go to pull a part though because there is a 6+ week back order. My next 3 big events are in Sept so yeah be got caffeine and octane, and z nationals, and the stock cup qualifiers. So I'm excited AF 3rd year racing track competitive. Never got above 5th hoping with all this weight savings and new suspension + grip I will break 7th place that seems to be my seat. Damn miatas are a bitch to keep up with on a track. I will look into those tires though I originally wanted toyo T1R but they discontinued. So might do my Mich psC2
