G35 maintenance question
G35 maintenance question
Hey guys, What have you done for 100k+ miles maintenance/component replacements? My 2005 G35 sedan has had the following replaced:- Spark plugs - Oil cooler (due to engine oil leak, but still maintenance in nature)- Coolant flushed - 135k miles on odometer Also, any part I should replace soon or else it'll fail? TIA I'm still a newbie. Please excuse if I'm not allowed to post here.

Most members cars passed 100k many moons ago. You should be able to dig up many posts such as https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...intenance.html. Of course it's all listed in the Factory Service Manual, as well as on most dealership websites https://www.sawgrassinfiniti.com/rec...intenance.html
Here's a link to the factory maintenance schedule. Imo the big one is getting the tranny fluid drain/fill caught up, just plan on doing a drain/fill along with your next 3 oil changes. That and your power steering fluid, get one of those gear oil pumps that you stick in a bottle of gear oil. Use it to suck out the power steering reservoir and basically do a reservoir drain/fill for the next 3 oil changes as well.

If you're still on the stock brake fluid you should consider getting the fluid flushed as well, if you're still on stock brake pads you probably need brakes too so just do it all at once.
Some folks choose to ignore the tranny maintenance, it's one of those personal decisions, personally I like to get the worn material out of the transmission but depending on what kind of life the transmission has had it's entirely possible to get 300k out of them without ever changing the fluid.
Here was a post I made about it years ago, I must have been drinking when I posted it, entertaining stuff.
