It feels like I can’t find any info on brembo/akebono upgrades for RWD sedans, from what I can tell it’s because they didn’t come with brembos from the factory, only coupes. Is it a plug and play type deal? I’m aware of cutting the dust shield, but If I buy a used pair from a coupe/z and rebuild them am I good to go? I’m assuming I just hit up rock auto and buy the brembo rotors/pads.

 

If you search there's a thread on here where somebody did that. I wanted to get some of the coupe brembos for my X after reading that thread but never did.... It didn't sound difficult to do and not even that expensive compared to the standard brakes if you're replacing the standard calipers anyway like I did.
