2005 G35 RWD Sedan - vibration issue

Hello, sorry if this is a duplicate post, I tried the search function but did not find anything.

I own a 2005 G35 Sedan RWD (204,xxx KM). I have had the tires balanced (watched the tire technician do it), replaced all rotors and pads, but still the car vibrates at anything above 60 KM/hr. Below 60KM the car is absolutely fine.

Carrier bearing? I visually inspected it and there were no rips but it did seem hollow.

Have anyone else ran into this issue? Any advise much appreciated!

Thanks!

How old are the shocks or struts?

Very good chance they are the originals. Should I start there vs worrying about changing the carrier bearing? Should say, the vibration is not felt in the steering wheel.

Thanks!

I had this problem on my last G35. Check your lower control arm bushings. I had no issues at low speeds, but the car felt like it had an unbalanced tire on the highway.

Control arms ordered, hopefully that does the trick. Will tackle the ball joints at the same time.

Thanks!

Check your rear drive axles. Once the CV joint wears out, it will wobble and vibrate. Jack up the rear, remove both wheels, reinstall lug nuts on the studs to keep rotors tight and spin the rear to see what makes it shake. It can also be the driveshaft carrier bearing in the middle..
If you don't get any shake with the wheels off, then i'd look into the tires or a different tire shop. Too many tire shops rarely calibrate their wheel balancing machines..
