gotta be kiddin me
I was waxing my (20 days old) G today and decided to try to get in the gas cap area, but to no avail. The frigg*n fuel door would not open. I just saw a thread a few days ago about jammed fuel door. This can't be happening, I think I'll log off now wait 1HR and try it again. It has gotta be a dream

I guess the upside to this is that I have 1/2 tank left and I drive less than one mile to work ( military folks), besides that I'm really pissed off. You know sometimes technology really sucks. Whatever happened to the simple cable style pull the lever and door opens

Not true, on the 2003.5 loaner I had, ALL of the doors had to be unlocked. Shocked the s..t out of me.

This thread (perhaps different than the one you saw) https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy/46325-gas-door-got-jammed.html suggests that you can move the lever to manually unlock it, in addition to being able to disconnect it. Then, there is the sledge hammer. Let us know what happens.
