I am a member of the OF Club- 56 years of age. Why do I (we) have a G35- cause it is an awesome ride.

I'll be 54 in July. Amazing thing happens when I drive my G though - reduces my age by at least half!
At least I feel that way.
My last car was a Camry - nice, sensible, boring. The G is my Fountain of Youth on wheels!

Another OF here .... except I may not belong.
I 'punked' out and went for the coupe.
I fell in love, what can I say.
Coupe - sedan, they're just really fine cars.
Previous rides:
'57 Nomad (modded I think is the word)
'56 2dr Chevy BelAir ( ditto )
'63 Healey 3000 MkII
'68 MGC GT
'72 442
'81 Celica SunChaser (22R poked & stroked to 2.7)
Various & assorted family cars

Comin' up on the double nickle.
Gotta have RWD, needed a sedan for occasional other folks.
Love the stealth factor.
Still love to go like a bat outta hell, which this puppy sure does, not to mention tracking like a go kart in the twisties.
Faster than my old 5.0 TBird .

58 and got rid of the 300ZX and a 1991 Miata, did alittle to both, Miata gave 258 at the rear wheels with the boost set at 15 psi. Just got alittle tired of puting it on everyday, best car I ever had, go fast and still give you 30 miles to the gallon. ZX was fun but being N/A couldn't do much,
G35 was best compromise in praticality and still having some get and go, reall enjoy it and want to do a few things to make it mine.
Has anyone put a Borla exhaust on? I don't want it loud but needs alittle something anyone have any Ideas?

61 here. needed more room, something quieter and with AC for long trips. So now I use the old somewhat moded ex track 911 mostly on nice weekends for early morning entertainment.

50 on the nose. Bought the car for its driveability, looks, the fact that they are still pretty rare in my part of CT.

I stopped driving the acura product because the quality sucks and I hav been tired of their issues. I agree that the interior needs more work in the G, but I found it overall to handle better and have more low end torque.

Hi Guys ...
Picked up my '05 G35x last night ... DG, Stone, Premium. Need I say ... it is awesome!!!!!!!!
Have always been a car-nut ... and a long-time Nissan (Datusn) owner & fan. I've had a couple of Zs, a 210 that I drove in England when I was stationed there, and an '03 Murano (which I traded-in on the G).
Oh yeah, and I celebrated the 35th anniversay of my 21st birthday last September ... if you're trying to add this it's 56
Let go drive!
