How many sedan owners here are over 50?
I was not the oldest the last time this came up a month or two ago-I think there were four others older-up to 70 y.o.
I'm 60. I like the G35x because it drives and handles well and the quickness is nice too, although I don't get to use the acceleration much until I get to the on ramps.

54 in June. Been ready Road & Track since 1963. Always been a car nut. TR4A, Mini Cooper (the original), V6 Capri, Mazada 626 tubro. When I read the first road test in R&T I knew that I had to have a G. Kept it stock for 2 years now yahoo, time to mod!

I'm 56 big ones. Always been into cars especially performance cars and as a previous poster aptly said-you don't stop liking performance just because you get older. One thing though you completely lose patience for as you get older is car problems and reliability is real important to me. The G will hopefully give me reliability and a nice dose of performance at a reasonable price. I picked the sedan because I drive with friends and the backseat of the coupe requires too much twisiting and turning to get into and us over 50s usually have bad backs.
Always been a gearhead.Have been riding bikes for 37 years ,ninjas for the past 20 Current bike 04 1200R ninja .I have over 600 on track miles at Road America thru sportbiketracktime. Current ride is a 1995 SHO bought new.Great sport sedan, love the Yamaha V-6.Idrove the Acura TL-S,the BMW 330 AND the 04 g35.Performance for the price G35 is the winner. Ordered 05 g 35 6speed first week Oct. 04.Picked up brillent silver, graphite 2nd week of Feb,only 700 miles on it as of 3-22.6speed not as smooth as BMWs. Milage between 16 and 19 so far city and hyway combined. So far I love it!!Ride is firmer than the 04 auto I tested but 18 inch rims look great!!
Now that am in the over 50 group I count myself one of the hallowed old farts that will never grow old. Just traded my WRX for a G35. Talk about Nirvana, the sound of the G motor is worth the price.
The only problem is when spring finally does arrive here I'll have to choose between my 02 Harley Fat Boy or the brand new G. Decisions, descisions.

I've driven mostly RWD most of my life - mostly manuals since a 1969 Z28 Camaro. In recent years I've had 3 Nissans - a 300ZX manual and 2 Maxima SEs - a 1997 automatic (couldn't wait to get rid of the automatic) and a 2000 5MT.
The G35 was a chance to get a RWD again. About the only manufacturers making RWD manuals (except for 2-seater sports cars) are Nissan and BMW. The BMW 3 series is too small and to me looks silly with 4 doors on such a small car.
Anyway, my G35 6MT sedan is an all-around great car, and there is nothing like a RWD with manual tranny for driving fun. Plus, it looks like a refined, classy sedan to clients and others who have little idea what a sleeper it is.

At 53 and a corporate exec. of sorts i wanted a 4-door car that looked classy, was fun to drive, min 250hp, rwd, and manual for around $30k. the G was one of the few available and i loved it from the first drive. easy sell.
