Quick Question about Dashboard
Hello all,
As you can see, I am new to the forum. I have been a lurker for many months, but finally decided to register.
I just got my new Black G35 Sedan 6MT w/ premium package and stone interior. I have did a search on the forums and my manual and have not found the answer to my question. Hopefully you guys can help. On my dashboard, there is the word "REV". I was wondering what this is suppose to mean, or if I am suppose to do anything w/ it.
Well, pardon my ignorance, but was curious to why this is like that. Anyway, thanks for reading my post.

It's the REV light indicating when you should optimally shift. Unless it's on all the time and if you are an experienced manual driver, you can just ignore it.
This feature reminds of the Corvettes which have a mandatory shift from 3rd to 5th or something if you are not revving the engine high enough, something about fuel efficency. The damn thing actually locks out gears, so in retrospect a light is not bad to deal (ignore with.
