So I took a stock 04 loaner for the day....

My car was due for service today, so i took it in and saw that the dealer have a brand new 05 Sedan for loaner... so of course i'd ask for it. but they said a customer just took it. and they gave me this ugly silver base model 04....

i havnt had the feeling of driving a stock sedan since a long time.... and i'm very happy that mine isnt stock.

i really dont understand how ppl could live with the premium suspension and the tires.
there is way too much body roll and the suspensions are way too soft.
today is a warm sunny day here in vancouver bc. the slip light actually came on under acceleration at 30-50MPH!!!! WTF??? are these tires this crappy?

i really didnt notice my car is actually lowered this much. the stock felt like an SUV.

now here is the worst feeling....
a modded coupe pulled up. and started revving his engine showing off his "stock exhaust" in front of me!!! WTF
and saw alot more modded G35 while driving the loaner car, which i've never seen when i'm driving my own car.

i just hate this ugly silver sedan so much.... the last time i driven it, i got a freaking speeding ticket right out the dealership....

i had a loaner car the other day. it was the 05 sedan in silver. i have only had my car for a month and i havent broken it in yet. so...that means i dont know the true power of my car yet. so what did i do when i got in the loaner? i freakin floored it! oh man! did i love the power! i cant wait to finish breaking in my car!

i actually felt the loaner lacks power....
the low end was pretty good, due to the stock intake and exhaust, but the mid - upper end SUCKS

i was trying to out pull a TL on the highway and it just wont do it... it felt like something is blocking the engine and it wont rev up.

Maybe I should mod mine out and then go drive it again to actually feel what your talking about. My car is a step up for me from a 1994 Honda Accord EX.

I hate my loaner too, but I loved driving it. Put nearly 800 miles on it in a week and 2 days. I've done several donuts on it, dry and wet surfaces. After doing that, the brakes feel grabby and the car doesn't go so good. The VDC off light also stays on even when I press the button to turn VDC back on and the SLIP light stays permanetley lit. I just turn the car off and on and it goes back to normal. These G35's can sure take a ton of abuse.

I should also mention I enjoy the premium suspension and tires (or maybe its just been over a week since I've been in my 6mt 05 Sedan and I am going crazy). But for all the driving I do, the soft suspension is just more comfortable. Although I am sure as soon as I am shifting through gears again, I will forget all about the loaner car.

You'll start forgeting about it once you drop the car off and start waiting for your car!
