And yea, I know what you're saying about the "rollin on dubs" comment, but I WAS gonna get 19's, then I was offered a deal I couldn't refuse on the 20's. So I said, what the heck, I don't race around.

And I plan on trading my car in, in about 2.5 years, you still think I should spend the extra money on coilovers instead of just springs??

Ya do the coilovers for sure. 2.5years is long enough plus they will still have value. Something adjustable would be good for you in my opinion. ie. If you have the time to do the work yourself you can get the perfect drop by trial and error. PLUS you can do a nice 2.0"+ drop once in a while for short cruises/weekends. If you are about show than that would be the way to go.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I ordered them from wheelsnext.com. Speak to Chris at ext. 208, he's the man!!

I have mixed reviews whether to lower it or not from my friends. Still not sure what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna cruise around on these for a bit and see what happens. I've already gotten from a girl, "I like the stock one's better" comment. That didn't make me too happy.

What's the ride quality like with those 20's? Have you noticed things are much harsher overall?

I personally dont care for the looks of 20s, let alone the added weight and rotating mass. I am more into spending money for performance. Whatever floats your boat tho, I hope you enjoy your G more now.

I don't normally like chrome wheels but they look pretty good. I'd lower it at least 1" perhaps more and I would use coilovers.

As for your question about the possible affects of larger wheels, well if the larger wheel, in your case 3" larger than stock is much heaver then it will increase braking distance because of all the extra mass that the vehicle has to stop.

Well from the little bit I've driven them so far, the ride quality has NOT changed much, if any at all. I'm going for a test ride now, I'll post the results later tonight. I'm gonna take it out on the highway, some city driving, and on some bumpy roads, I'll give a detailed post tonight about the ride quality.

The myths about 20's are untrue. Ride quality is fine with them. I tested them out on some of bumpiest and smoothest roads today, and they are perfect. And these tires are sick. It's like I'm glued to the road.
