Yea, not sure why people are so hesitant when it comes to 20's. My experience with them so far has been fine. Getting some springs put on VERY soon. I finally found someone with a good reputation in my town.

Is the dashboard kit available yet for a reasonable price??? I"m ready for a new headunit as well.

Seems like everyone on here goes with Volks. For some reason I'm not a fan of them at all. I haven't seen one set that I like yet on a G35. They look like they belong on Honda's IMHO.

A part of me still wishes I would have listened to SkeletonCru and gone with some black rims and chrome lip instead of all chrome!!

All I can think of is if you had saved the money you spent on those wheels, in 20 years you would have had $25-$35 k.

Hey G4me
Tires and wheels are the best investment you can make on a car. Resale is much higher for cars with them.
Go tell all the Global Crossing and Enron people how they should invest thier money and let us have our toys.

That's one of the reasons I didn't get Volks. Everyone has them. Not that they aren't good quality wheel. They are.

Don't second guess your decision. The grass is always greener...

A few months after I bought my wheels I wanted something different. Too bad we can't change wheels like we change shoes.

I would never buy a car that was modded. I would not buy a G35 sedan with 20" chrome rims that is for sure. No way it increases value. It is common knowledge that 99.9% of the time a modded car will actually decrease the market value.

There is a difference between modded out and bigger wheels.
Wheels, tinting, etc. give cars a unique look that sets it apart from other OE setups. Done right it absolutly adds to the value.
Why do you think the OE comes with 19" wheels now insted of 16s. 20" is just a +1 fitment.
I'll park mine next to a stock G anyday and sell it for an extra $2K. I've done it with my last 3 cars.

I think a 2005 with the stock 18's looks better than his car with the 20" rims. Plus save $2000+.
