Thumbs up Thanks!

Andy77,

Thanks! I'm all about the softcopy, too. I'm downloading it right now.

That website is a great resource for technical info. Too bad it is extremely expensive to view all the bulletins, pubs, and training.

Since I don't have one yet, and I'm Itchin' to find out everything I can... What does the user's manual say about the break in? I'm going to pick up the car and drive about 2500 miles in about 10 days. I'd like to know what I can and can't do. Can anyone indulge me?

THNX!
I think your biggest challenge is that you should vary the RPM's substantially if you can. No cruise control, no running at 3500 rpms for 3 hours.

I'm definitely not an expert, but I've been told you need to wear the engine up and down the RPM scale for 1200 miles or so.

Any experts want to weight in?

Grabbed this - thanks for the link. Was very tired of the 'view only' version available at Infiniti. What do they think we are going to do, bootleg their owners manual?

:-)

^^ You're both welcome. I have read on this forum that if you want the shop manuals, you can rent a day's access and download all the sections one by one from that basic address also.

Thumbs up g35 Tech Manual

Andy, it's no joke.

A one day subscription to that website is all you need. You can download the entire tech manual (for every Infiniti car, if you wanted) and all of the TSBs. Best $20 I spent in a long time.

This website (and everyone who contributes to it) R O C K S ! !

I must have saved around $1500 just by reading! Who says it doesn't pay to spend hours at a time on the computer?
