Not sure what you are trying to accomplish as it relates to your x suspension but I can offer the following... I have an 05 x and want to swap the springs to reduce the fender gap when I upgrade to 18 wheels.

Evidently, based on research of this site, Eibach at one time had springs specifically for the x -- evidently not anymore. Not really sure what the story is here and haven't had a chance to contact Eibach directly...

Others have used the Eibachs (and other brands (Tein) for that matter) for the RWD -- if you look in the Wheels and Suspension forum you will usually find a thread or two on this subject. I just recently read a thread where someone used the RWD Eibachs and the ride is not good -- their words. Someone suggested reducing the stops on the struts (shocks) to help with the problem... I don't want to have to mess with cutting the stop on the struts -- just my position.

Here is where I stand on this subject... I have quite a bit experience modding cars in the past -- mostly with coilovers... With this car and what I use it for, I don't want to go that route -- I simply want to maintain stock ride quality and reduce fender gap -- without having to swap the entire suspension...

It doesn't look this is possible without (1) reducing ride quality or (2) using a part for a different model (RWD).

I am at a loss but hope this insight gives you something to think about when considering suspension options for the Gx.

I am most likely going to go ahead with the wheels for now until I find an acceptable solution to my suspension needs...

I just got my 04 X lowered yesterday with Eibach prokit and the ride quality has not been affected at all. I used the Eibach part meant for the RWD sedan, part 6363.140.

Yeah I was initially concerned since another member of this board said he was having problems, and commented on unacceptable ride quality was after getting the Eibachs installed etc etc. But there was not much I could do I had already ordered them and they had been sitting around my house for about a month till I finally found a place to get them installed.
I attribute the ride quality to the progressive spring rates. After the install, I basically drove from one end of the city to the other and there was no noticable increase in harshness if anything some of the bumps seemed to be absorbed better than the stock X suspension.
