Choosing between the Sedan and Coupe
I’m planning on replacing my daily driver 95 6-speed Acura Legend coupe with a G35, but am having a real problem choosing between a 6MT Sedan and a 6MT Coupe. Kids are grown, so I don’t need the extra doors.
Did you consider the coupe and what, besides the extra two doors, made the difference for you?
I much prefer the coupe’s appearance, and like the extra power. But I need all the trunk space I can get, and the coupe’s very small trunk is a major limitation. I also want a comfortable ride, and I am wondering if the coupe’s suspension may be too stiff. I drove a 6MT sedan and thought that the ride was good.
Thanks for your help,
Jim

Hey Jime
I have a Sedan and I love it.. others have Coupes and they love it.. If you need the trunk space I would say go with the Sedan.. the 20 HP differnece (and more) can be made up with a CAI and an exhaust
I needed the sedan for the extra space in the back seat aswell as the trunk (for my solo barric L7's)

Since you already have the RL with 4 doors, and the RX, why not go for the coupe. Its all preference though. I like having 4 doors, and since its my only car...

Hi,
I was going to get the coupe, but I liked the seats better in the sedan so I got the 6mt version. I like the look of the coupe better, and some of the options made me drool, but I like my sedan and I do not miss the 20 HP, I can''t do 100 MPH all the time in Los Angeles. Either one is a killer car, the 6mt sedan is cheaper.

I went with the sedan and absolutely love every minute in it. I also think the appearence of the coupe is better and more eye-catching than the sedan, but I also went with the full aerodynamic kit on my sedan to spice it up. It really comes down to a matter of choice and opinion, I love the style of the coupes, but I love the room of the sedan, you can't lose with either. Good luck.

I love my sedan. I would not change it for the world. Both of my brother have 2 door cars and we end up taking mine out because it is easy and there is a lot of room. Regardless you'll be haqppy with a G.

I was torn between the same decision. I ended up with the sedan and don't regret it at all. It's definitely a fun ride, love not having to disassemble my golf clubs to get them in and it's definitely a good looking car.
