I have a 03.5 (used 22K new to me) with an AT. I have only had it a week and I have had to fill it twice + the initial dealer fill. It should get better, as I learn to not "punch" it at the get go. hahaha

03.5 5AT with 28k miles

City 15mpg

Hwy 20mpg

City Hwy 16.5mpg (30%hwy/70%city)

I was hoping I will get better milage but city/hwy combination never got above 17mpg unless driving majority of hwy.

2003.5 AT

Initially 16-17 mpg (65%city, 35%hwy) = 280 tank
Now 19-21 mpg (65%hwy, 35%city) = 300-335 tank

Difference? Baby + Babysitter is 15 miles away = Less WOT.

2XX5 G35X, Stock....

I have yet to take a pure Highway road trip, so far my driving has been 70% local and 30% HWY. I have the NAV system which has a page for instantaneous MPG. Using this information I have been able to get 15-17mpg per tank. To get good MPG though I really have to work at it, including taking it easy on the gas peddle, throwing it in neutral on the long down hill roads and when approaching a red light or stop sign.

Keep in mind that I have been babying my baby, which will change in 400 miles as she reaches maturity. After that anything is possible.
