05/5AT... 7.5k miles.
I drive 50/50 Fwy/City. 75% of fwy is through traffic. Consistent 18-20 mpg. One trip to Santa Barbara (all fwy no traffic) got 24.5mpg. No complaints from me. Hwy speeds typically are generally 70-80MPH.

When Mama drives, we get 21, when I drive we get 16. We wanted a smaller car that got better MPG than the 12-14 that our truck was getting. We also wanted FUN, well we got fun, we got better MPG. However, now we must buy the good stuff and we are NOT saving ANY money.
18-19 in the city and heavy traffic.
24.5 on the highway at 75 to 80.
27 on the highway at 60-65.
Long term avg: 22.7
2003.5 Sedan, 6MT.
Much improvement in mileage after 5000 or so miles. Now have 45k.

I took a long road trip - thought I'd post - 2000 miles on the ODO.
One tank, 65 degrees, dry conditions on the highway, I got 27.2 at about 76 mph average.
Return trip, rainy, 25.2 at about 75 mph average.
Around the city, I'm averaging about 19-20 mpg.
Interesting, if I fill up right when the gas light turns on, only about 15.5 gallons fit in there... seems a little premature.

My 2004 sedan with AT is driven about 58% hwy and 42% local. I live in so florida and the hwy is mostly on I95 where it can be stop and go. Also, the A/C runs frequently due to the hot weather. I now have 13600 miles on the car and went through some old and some new receipts to check avg milage. I also don't let my car get low on fuel so here are the figures The avg MPG is 19.72 using 40 fuel stops averging 10.259 gals per stop. That is slightly better than the 18 MPG epa city bit nowhere close to the 26 epa why rating. When purchasing this car, I thought I would get maybe 22 - 23 avg. I have owned other cars such as my 2001 TL that actually got mileage very close to the epa rating under the same operating conditions. However, it did have 225 HP vs 260 for the G35. I am lucky in that my 2004 can run regular 87 octane per owners manual. I usually run mid grade with an occassional premuim bump but may switch to regular if fuel prices soar as expected.

I personally leave the car in gear when slowing down for a light or anything that will eventually require the brakes, but if I'm just heading down a long incline I'll drop her in neutral since I don't want any engine braking.
2005 6mt sedan, 2500 miles, no mods (yet).
