Is there any way to tell what color the interior is thru the VIN number???
because they have a couple of white sedans but it says the car is
WHITE/GRAY
and im pretty sure in 03 they just offered tan and black leather am i wrong???

is there anything i should know about the car, i lurked around for a couple of days here and it seems like the cars are pretty good, and reliable
is there any problems i should know about????

There are a bunch of TSBs out for the 2003 models. Make sure they have all been done. How many miles? The brakes are under warranty for 36,000 miles.
Make sure you have the brakes inspected and fixed if needed.

Two things:

1. You should wait a significant more time than one hour and eleven minutes before you bump your post with an "anyone???"

2. Read your responses carefully. ChicagoG answered you.

I also recently bought an 03 G35s. I found that some folks listed the willow as grey and some listed the graphite as grey. Oh, and Desert Platinum is silver along with Bright Silver. Diamond Graphite is grey or silver too. You won't really know till you get there.

Also, the willow CLOTH was referred to as light grey by someone as well. Are you sure it is leather?

You will need to inspect it yourself or educate your surrogate.

Now I'm confused.
Ignore the above post please.

Lux,
On the interior:
Graphite = Black
Willow = Tan
There are no other interior colors.
You may hear of Titanium(Silver) and Wood(wood) when they talk about interior trim choices.

My $0.02.
I have picked my 03 G35 up 3 weeks ago from a dealer. So, I would like to share my experience while still fresh.
If I were you, I would check:
1. Warranty (depends on mileage).
First, consider this: you will get a car from dealer auction “AS IS”, so I think it is going to be hard to figure out what was done on this car at the purchase time. If you have VIN, go to any Infiniti Service and check maintenance/ service history (I did).
Check CARFAX as well, try to get report from the dealer for free.
2. Test drive.
Most of TSB are about noise, creaking, squeaking, ticking and so on. My advice is turn the radio to max level, bass to max and you going to hear all loose stuff. Then drive over the speed bump several times with stereo off while rotating steering wheel left and right and check suspension (front and rear) for any noise. I have missed that, now I have to visit service to fix front left noise.
PURE WORKMANSHIP???
3. Prepare check list and take it with you, and you won’t miss anything important.

Good luck with your new G.

Well, that is my point. Many people who are not as familiar as we are with the color choices in the G don't do a good job destinguishing between them.

It is confusing and that is why you have to check yourself or work with someone who knows what the are talking about.

Are you still confused?

sounds reasonable, the cars are "as is" but there is still remainder of factory warranty which is 60k???? if im not mistaken
and the car is going to be between 20-30k miles so if theres any problems i hope the dealer will take care of it
and if i get the vin the dealer will tell me services that have been done?????
