Did you take a major hit on the cost of the sale / trade?

My local dealer's inventory of G35's is not moving - I assume due to high gas prices...

I'm thinking there will be deals to be had soon....

I doubt very seriously the M is moving then either! I think if you took a looka round, most cars are not selling as well, except for the Hybrid's, also, I bet you will also find sales of many products are down, people freak out with gas prices, they aren't that bad, the media gets everyone freaked out! Besides, I read that California is considering a tax on hybrid's to offset the gas tax they aren't paying as much of.

Congratulations! Car and Driver just ranked the M45 No.1 over the RL, GS and 7 other luxury sedans priced over 50K!

Everyone except those who will only drive a stick. Make the M in a stick and I would be there in a shot.

Dude, please fix the yellow text in your sig. It's almost impossible to read because of the background color and it makes my eyes bleed when I try.

No disrespect - just a suggestion.

Congrats on the sale and the new target - agree with the above - it was a great article. I loved seeing the 5 series BMW bringing up the rear.. LOL.. BMW trounced by the Audi and the Acura. LOLOLOLOL..

Ultimate driving machine my red butt.

I agree with GeeWilliker's comments on your yellow signature as I can't read it either even with my glasses on.

I'm with Hyde. Stick or no stick, the M45 is a beast. That C&D comparo made me wish I were a rich man, or at least a man who wouldn't miss dropping $50K on a car.

Congratulations, G35Mechanic. Enjoy the car, and yes, please post photos when you get a chance. (On a related note, where's that doofus who made the "You'll always be just a mechanic" crack a few weeks ago? That still sticks in my craw, and it wasn't even pointed at me! I hope he reads this thread and chokes on his pseudo-silk tie.)
