G35s in Chicago

Hey all,

I live in Chicago, and over here, I do not see that many G35s, and have only seen one M45 <granted they just came out> Actually the car that I see the most <aside from hondas and toyotas>! are BMWs. Everyone and their mother's got a BMW. Granted, nice cars, but people don't seem to be wanting to get the G35 as much. I've seen maybe 5 since I got mine.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

I live out in the western burbs and I will go days without seeing one. Then I will see 5 in a day. I have the coupe, and I see less coupes than sedans. I also have to drive to some smaller towns in rural areas for work. I never see Gs out there. The G is definitely "different" out there where almost every car is a GM or Ford product.

I was thinking the same thing. Out by me in far NW burbs there are very few g35's. But that might be because the closest dealer is 30 mins away. I drove about an hour and a half to get my car from Fields Infiniti

I currently work near the suburbs 15 min. North of O'Hare and I see G's more often than home (Ohio). A few coupes here and there, but I see more sedans.

I'm seeing lots of G's in the city. It's almost an even split between coupes and sedans. You're right about BMWs - more 3 series than you can shake a stick at. They're everywhere. I like my G.

Actually, I've only seen one Coupe. The rest Sedans, and I bought mine at the Fields Infiniti in libertyville, which one didja go to?

I agree too many 3 series, TOO MANY! I love my G too, 3 series are nice, but I feel more people buy it for the name then for the car's capabilities. I'm sure there have been more then enough people dreaming to say "I drive a BMW", well I'm shouting out loud.. I DRIVE A G!

Where is a good place to get detailing (specifically polishing) in Chicago area? I would like to get rid of all the little scratches from the winter. I live near O'hare and work in northwest city. I don't care how much it costs just need a good place.
