bose amp location

Does anyone know how to get to the Bose amp? I took up the trunk mat and looked for a compartment but couldn't find anything. Am I just blind or stupid or a combination of both? (lol) Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Re: bose amp location

The Coupe's amp is under the floor mat and under the black styrofoam 'box' in the trunk. It sits right on the floor so you have to remove the Spare Tire to get access to the hold down bolt for the styrofoam box. (Left Side). The Sedan's is also in the trunk on the underside of the shelf. Once you remove the trim, the amp should be exposed. G/L bro.

Re: bose amp location

Thanks for the info dude. I am torn between adding an amp and speakers to the bose system OR adding an amp and speakers to my Kenwood 911D tuner/dvd/tv/navi./sirius. I would probably get a better sound with this setup, but I hate to lose the steering wheel controls with the bose. I did find a peripheral that allows you to use the steering wheel controls with an aftermarket unit.....but I don't know if it is compatible with the G35 though it will fit Nissans. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
