Ever since I got my 6MT I've noticed that the accelerator action is quite snatchy, to the extent that it's really detracting from my enjoyment of driving the car. It is especially noticeable in stop and go city driving when the throttle is opened and closed regularly. The snatchiness makes it hard to derive the car smoothly.

Is this typical, or should I get it seen to?

I would get it looked at, you may have a bad throttle position sensor. The only lurch in mine is by my own feet

Your problem might be the VDC. If your a bad MT driver the vdc kicks in which exacerbates the lurchyness

Spoke to the service dept. He says it is quite common due to the accelrator linkage not being mechanical. It can be adjusted somewhat, buts he's not making any promises.

I really hope he can fix it, or I might be selling.
