Where can i get a new Trunk lid?
Where can i get a new Trunk lid?
I'm wanting to remove the oem spoiler on my sedan and was wondering if there was a place that sells new/used parts for the sedans other than the local dealer. Unfortantely it looks like replacing the entire trunk lid is the only way to go if wanting to remove the oem spoiler.

If your's is the factory option, you won't have a brake light in the rear window.
You will have to add one to be legal.
So....
If you find a swap mate, you should consider swapping the
rear parcel shelf (c/w Br light) as well.

Yeah, I was planning on adding the 3rd light.
Is it possible to remove the spoiler and have the existing lid refinished or will it be too difficult to do a clean job? One local shop here said that they wouldn't touch it and that a new lid is the only way to go.

Yeah, they said fixing the holes the correct way would be just as tough as matching the IP color. I guess I'll start searching for someone that is willing to swap or just stick with the spoiler.
