How much for 30K service?

My car just went over 30K miles. I'm planning to go in for 30K service and was wondering how much should I expect to pay?

Is there anything that I can do it on my own and not pay a ridiculous $ for dealer to do it?

I'd appreciate some feedbacks.
I'm in San Jose area.

Thanks.

I will be due for 30k service in next couple of months. I think the cost is about ~$500 if you get the full 30k service done (per the information provided by Cru from this forum).
Since I have recently done the tire rotation, air and cabin filter replacement I am hoping it will cut down to ~$350

I am doing this as most people say its a good idea to get atleast few service with the dealer so they can keep an eye on the car especailly helpful if you need espensive warranty work.

I have uptil now most other work (oil change, wheel alignment, tire rotation)done at local shops.

I can do the in-cabin filter myself and I have the coupe wheels so I don't need tire rotation...
I hope I can bring it down to around $350 or so...

Anybody had their service done in Frontier Infiniti @ San Jose?

I am planning to go to Frontier too as they are closer to me.
The price I mentioned was for Peninsula Infiniti but I think prices should be compareable

I can email you copies of my 30k service invoice if you would like. It has an itemized list. skeletoncru@sbcglobal.net

Hey, if I buy my car from CARMAX will I need the 30K service? The cars I'm looking at usually have around 24-28K and CARMAX say they put in about 12 hours of service to each car before it hits the lot. I'm just wondering if it would void my warranty to skip the 30K.

It depends on what CARMAX has done service wise. Skipping the 30k service may not void the warranty, BUT if something goes wrong that should have been serviced at 30k, they will blame you for skipping it.
