Just recently, I started noticing that in first, second, and third gear, every time I release the clutch it makes a slight high-pitched chirp noise. Then everything is fine until i reach 3-4K RPM when the chirp comes back again.

Other than that the tranny shifts fine. I took it to the dealer and drove around with a tech. He heard the noise but said it was probably normal, added 1/2 quart of tranny fluid and had me on my way.

Anyone else encounter a similar problem? My car is an 03.5 6MT sedan and has 17K miles.

 

Mine was squeaking when I depressed the clutch and it felt like stepping on a rubber ball. The dealer eventually replaced every moving part on my clutch master including the pedal linkages. After three visits and waiting for parts, it was finally resolved.
