I want a private owner used G35. They don't list the VIN so I can't do a CARFAX report. Anyone know?

Yes they do. I was a manager for Payless Rent a Car and we unloaded lots of cars to Carmax, but one thing for sure is that they would check those cars very well, any signs of body work the car would be rejected.
