Who would win 0-60, 1/4 mile and twisted road?

MT to MT the G35 sedan will win. Here are some fact's for the accord V6 6MT

0-60 6.22sec
1/4 14.54sec at 98.04mph

I drove the accord before I got my car and I was really impressed with the car. I was really considering buying one over the G, till I started to pull some g's around corners. Worst feeling I've had in years while cornering, not to mention their idea of a "sport" suspension is a total joke. Awesome car, just don't ask it do much handling wise. Beside's a RWD chassis will beat a FWD chassis in the twisties, expecially one as well sorted as the G35.

Motor trend had these comment's on the accord coupe V6 MT. "Much of Honda's talk of "Euro-feel" is rhetoric, however. The Accord always has been one of the sportiest-feeling midsize cars (especially when weighed against the Camry), but it won't be mistaken for the Prelude, let alone a BMW M3, in a blindfold test." And, in the what's NOT hot colum, "Some torque steer, Needs a sport suspension".

The 0-60 seems a bit fast with only 212 at the crank. What is our curb weight?

They got 6.22s to 0-60 cuz they probably dropped the clutch at 3K or 4K RPMs, in a street start (5-60 MPH) it would get around 7s to 7.5s due to the low torque output.

 

Thanks for the input. I think that low of a torque number really hurts the performance figures that are being published.

I own a g35 sedan and my neighbor across the street owns a new accord coupe. Its a nice ride, but it ain't no G thats all I have to say. Can't hang off the line either.

Once you own the best, everything else is just the rest...

Yesterday my G35s kicks out as accord coupe. The G kicks with about 3 cars of diference and the accord guys fells unhappy, I see his face. LOL

 

I know im going to get yelled at for street racing by some mom or dad... regardless my friend mike has an 03, i raced it not even a quarter mile 3am at nite... i won, by a substantial margine... and then i laughed... The greatest difference between the two cars was a quality, and torque... The g souned much more muscular, and his car sounded like it was struggling almost... the race was from a dead start, and i stoped when i reaced 60, put the flashers on and went on my merry way... dont worry the speedlimit on the road we raced was 50, and there was no one in sight..

 

Beautiful! By the overwhelming positive responses, "thumbs up to the G", I'll just smile at my train station neighbor that parks near me on a daily bases. If he tries me, I’ll hand him a can of *** whippin.
