At least things seem to be on your side ... and I know from first-hand experience how frustrating situations like this can be.
I too was rear-ended in a similar type accident years ago ... a truck hit a hit truck behind me that hit me, and then pushed me into the truck in front of me.
I felt so helpless sitting there watching things unfold in my rear-view mirror until I felt the impact (was driving a 1-year old Datsun 210 at the time).
The repairs took about 3 months ... but when they were done and I got my car back all of the angusih seemed to disappear and things got back to normal quickly after that.
So hang in there ... keep similin' and let us know how this plays out.
Take Care ..... Mike
