I'm going to a local place to change the oil should I tell them to rotate the tires? Are the tires rotated any differently than any other car? will this shop need special instructions or "can you please rotate my tires" be good enought..?

 

I would. I believe it's every 7500 miles front to rear.

Check the manual - it may say how the tires are to be rotated.

 

Front to rear, 80 Ft-LBS. (Just did mine on Sat, and spent about 2 hours scrubbing brake dust off of the insude of the wheels.)
