Chico, my main man... i am glad you are in one piece, dude!..... ... ...

those 20"s need a new home - put them on your new G. and yes, G all the way!

here's a couple of interesting questions:

- will insurance pay for all the upgrades you did to your car?
- what about the rims? - will they let you keep them?

Can't imagine the feel of someone rear ending at 65mph. Glad you are fine. Cars are replaceable but you are not. Hopefully you'll be fine soon.

its not ur fault that some dumbass wasnt paying attention.

I would bet that his insurance will try to fix the car instead of totaling it. I would insist on a total with enough pay out to buy another

Chico, Good thing you were in a G, bro, and that you were alone. Sorry for your loss, my man, and thank God it wasn't worse.
Still hope to see you at the next meet, and good luck with a replacement.
Look after those wounds.
Colin.

Thanks Codeflux,

Well the adjuster called me last night and asked him the same question. He said if it is repairable, they pay for the OEM parts but the shop can put on whatever I want. If it is total loss, and I think it is, they pay to replace the vehicle new or the invoice amount when I bought it.

As for the wheels, the two rear ones did not survive and it's too early to tell if the front ones are OK. I hit the curb really hard so I'll be surprised if they are not bent.

PM me and let me know what happened with your deal at Zcargarage.

Thank you all for your support. It's really a nice feeling to read your postings.

skeletoncru, I was outraged initially but that kid (17 years old) has enough problems on his plate as it is.

He probably won't be able to afford driving a car anymore with his new insurance record. I know the cops charged him with careless driving and something else.

Wow, sorry to hear of your accident. The good thing is that you are not seriously hurt. From your pictures and description, it probably will be best for you if they declare your car totalled. Best of luck dealing with the insurance people...
